Marlon Ray Ellis Jr. aka LV Da Slap Phoen (Music Addict) was born in Riverside, California on October 2, 1983. His family moved around Southern California; spending his adolescent years in Moreno Valley, CA. He was raised in a single parent home, with his mother and sister. Ms. Alondra Sales did all she could for her children; while allowing him a musical environment. By providing musical influence, LV was allowed access to DJ equipment at the early age of nine. At the age of 18 he relocated to Tucson, AZ to be near his sister who always encouraged him to strive for stardom. He soon met Arizona Fatz who played the role of an older brother and a musical mentor. Arizona Fatz provided LV a medium for expressing his lyrical talents and this helped groom LV by laying a solid foundation. LV then reached exposure heights through social media (YouTube, Facebook, MySpace, etc.) and blog-talk radio (MoneyBlacRadio). In 2005, LV had a life-altering incident in which he was incarcerated. Through the influence of life's ups and downs and the love of hip hop; LV has self-groomed himself to be a jack of all trades.  After rededicating himself to another form of art, LV has grown to be an impressionable graphics designer and a well-spoken lyricist.  During this time he became a sponge of experience and life altering situations.  His goal is to be the best at whatever he deems as his set of skills.  LV’s introduction to the world of graphics design, introduced him to the basics of Adobe Photoshop CS5. Over the years he has used his gift as the neighborhood graphics guru.  This allowed him to gain the necessary experience to practice and excel in his new trade.  As his skills progressed, he grew to a competitive professional.  It was not long before consumer’s realized that he had become a force to be reckoned with.  LV’s graphics career began with a laptop and a dream.  With motivational support from friends and family members, he created Allasone Graphics.  He now considered himself a one-man army.  With dedication and hard work, he could now fulfill the needs of each new consumer.  Once the news travelled that LV was creating amazing designs, people began requesting his work. LV branched out further and began designing trade-marks and logos for small businesses and new independent music artist.  With his heart destined and forever submerged in music, LV learned that it takes more to make it in this industry than just being a rapper.  Looking for a fresh start, LV was introduced to a different aspect of the game. He was requested to feature with artist and producers such as C-Murda, Taurus Scott and Jayo Felony. After this opportunity LV relocated to El Paso, Texas. With family ties and connections, he was teamed up with the producer and CFO (Jae Breezzy) of Get Money Team (GMT) Entertainment, LLC. After countless hours in the studio and perfecting their craft, they had finally completed their first album titled I-10 Ryders. They have recently released the smash-hit single “Ridin’Dolo.” 

LV continued to work on improving his craft and was soon introduced to FlauntDaGift Records by a friend.  Once LV partnered with FlauntDaGift Records he soon released, “Music Is My Focus; #MIMF.”  LV was soon signed to be the host of a Web-Show, “8 Barz.”  It is an Indie based show that allows artists exposure and a chance to prove they have what it takes to get signed by FlauntDaGift Records.  LV Da Slap Phoen and FlauntDaGift Records were introduced to the Nerve DJ’s, DJ Black Cezar in early December 2013..  LV has been climbing the Nerve DJs Mixtape Charts; his time has arrived.
